Message frequency varies based on your appointment schedule and interactions with our practice. You may typically receive 1–3 messages per scheduled appointment, 1–2 recall reminders when you are due for a visit, and occasional practice updates.
To stop receiving text messages at any time, reply STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a one-time confirmation, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt back in. Opting out of SMS will not affect your ability to receive dental care from our practice.

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data rates apply to any messages you send or receive. University Dental Implant Centers is not responsible for any charges incurred from your mobile carrier. Our SMS service supports most major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your mobile phone number and the content of text messages will be kept confidential. We will not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number may be shared with our SMS service provider solely to deliver messages on our behalf.
Please note that SMS messages are not encrypted, and there is a risk that messages could be accessed by unauthorized parties. We recommend not including sensitive health information in your text message replies. Appointment reminder messages may include the date, time, and general nature of your appointment. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your mobile device. (See also Section 5 – Privacy & Protected Health Information.)
By opting in to our SMS program, you confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the phone number provided and that you are at least 18 years old.
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable HIPAA regulations. Note: Standard contact forms and email communications may not be encrypted. Please avoid submitting sensitive health data through unsecured channels.
This Site is not directed to children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
