Dr. Yasmin Zand, DDS
Dr. Yasmin Zand, DDS, M.S. graduated with honors from University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). She furthered her education at Georgetown University, earning a Masterās degree in Physiology and Biophysics, honing her scientific and innovative thinking.
Dr. Zand completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency from NYU Langone where she treated patients in communities clinics across San Diego, treating patients of all ages including patients with special needs and children, mastering complex procedures and delivering advanced dental care.
Community service is central to Dr. Zandās mission. She catered to the rural communities of Panama during a mission trip with Global Brigades treating hundreds of patients in need of basic dental care for a week. Her excellence was further recognized with her participation as a leader and Treasurer of the Gorgas Odontological honorary society, reflecting her outstanding scholarship and character.
Outside the office, Zand enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time with her family and friends, as well as pursuing continuing education to enhance her skills for her patientsā benefit.
Meet Averie
As Director, Averie is a highly versatile professional passionate about connecting patients with life-changing dental implant solutions. She is responsible for patient-focused marketing, expanding and diversifying financing solutions, and training and overseeing dental implant and Invisalign consultants. Her commitment to providing accurate, transparent information helps patients make informed decisions about their care.
Averie holds a degree in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire, which has shaped her ability to build meaningful relationships and create a welcoming, personalized patient experience. Known for her approachable personality and genuine enthusiasm, she has always been passionate about understanding people and building authentic connections.
She enjoys fostering strong relationships with both patients and the clinical team, and is committed to ensuring every patient feels comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their treatment journey. Her goal is to create an experience built on trust, communication, and exceptional care.
Originally from New Hampshire, Averie brings a true go-getter spirit to everything she does. Outside the office, she enjoys running, skiing, hiking, travel, and film photography. Above all, she values authentic connections and believes exceptional patient care begins with strong relationships.
